CHECK-IN TIME

  • Check-in time is 4pm. This allows us time to help ensure your safety through enhanced cleaning measures.

  • Check-out time is 10am. This allows us time to help ensure your safety through enhanced cleaning measures.

ACCESSIBILITY

  • Solara Resort is not universally wheelchair-accessible; please contact the hotel directly to inquire about potential limitations.

POOL & HOT TUB

  • Our pool and hot tub are open from 8am - 10pm.

FITNESS CENTRE

  • The fitness centre at One Wellness is open.

HOUSEKEEPING

  • For the safety of our guests and associates, housekeeping services are not provided during your stay. Guests can request fresh linens, towels, and room amenities.

Frequently asked questions

  • Check-out time is 10:00 am.

  • Yes, but late check outs are subject to availability and an additional charge. You must arrange a late check out before your check out date. Late check outs may not be available during high season (June-September, and Christmas period).

  • Check in time is 5:00 pm.

  • For the safety of our guests and associates, housekeeping services are not provided during your stay. Guests can request fresh linens, towels, and room amenities.

  • For accommodations reserved during the peak season, which spans from Canada Day to Labour Day inclusive, the cancellation policy requires notification 14 days prior to the arrival date.

    During the off-season, the cancellation policy is set at 72 hours prior to the arrival date.

    If a cancellation occurs after the specified cancellation time:

    • If a one-night deposit was paid at the time of booking, it will not be refunded.

    • If no deposit was taken, a one-night room charge plus tax will be charged to the credit card on file.

  • To avoid incurring early check-out fees, it is recommended to modify your reservation before your arrival. If you decide to depart early, a one-night room charge, along with applicable taxes, will occur.

  • Yes. Solara Resort charges a minimum deposit of two nights’ accommodation including taxes and hotel service fee during the peak season from June – September and minimum one night from October-May. When booking a longer stay or resort package a larger deposit may be required at the time of booking depending on type of package.

  • A $250 damage deposit is required at time of check in. A valid credit card is required for check in. The credit card will be authorized for the full amount of the stay, plus $250 damage deposit. Authorizations are released within 3 business days of departure. No cash or debit payments will be accepted towards the damage deposit.

  • Yes. We have free underground parking for vehicles (roughly 230) 7'6" and under. During peak seasons & busy weekends, we allow only one car per unit with the exception of three bedroom units which may park two cars. Free street parking exists surrounding the resort.

  • There are a limited number of suites offering mountain views. Please book a mountain view suite on our website to confirm this unit type. Please note that due to high demand, mountain view suites may be sold out for your desired dates, in which case they will not show up online.

  • No. Solara Resort is 100% non smoking environment. This includes guest rooms, balconies, parking lot, and common areas.

  • Solara Resort is a pet friendly resort, but unfortunately not all our units are pet friendly. Please contact the Front Desk to check availability of pet friendly units and our pet policy.

  • Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available in all guest room accommodations and meeting room facilities.

  • Solara Resort does not provide cots but all of our units have pull-out sofas.

  • Solara Resort has playpens available. Please request at time of reservation as there are a limited number available. There is no cost for a playpen.

  • The majority of our units have outdoor electric grills. Please contact the front desk for more information.

  • Yes. Solara Resort is located just outside the boundary of Banff National Park. More information on Banff Park Passes can be found on the Parks Canada website.

  • Yes. Solara Resort, and the Canmore municipal area are exempt, however if you wish to take your vehicle to nearby lakes or trailheads, you will require a Kananaskis Conservation Pass. The pass is linked to your license plate and can be purchased online, up until midnight on the date you access a provincial park (you may retroactively purchase your pass, up until midnight on the same day).   • Solara Resort does not offer spa services. Our partner, One Wellness, provides access to their Recovery Zone including and aromatherapy steamroom, cedar sauna, polar plunge, infrared sauna, recovery lounge, and gym.

  • Solara is no longer showing nightly movies in the theatre. We apologize for any inconvenience.


STAY® | WELL 

  • HSEF is the Hotel Services and Environmental Fee and is part of Bellstar’s Stay® | Well program. We hope to inspire guests to become active and truly experience our destinations and at the same time give back to the environment by offering a wide variety of activities and services, including outdoor activity programming, and a variety of seasonal gear to enable all guests to get out and enjoy the area. Included in this fee is a contribution to Bellstar’s Stay® | Green program, which supports local eco-friendly initiatives. For more information, please visit bellstar.ca/green.

  • Stay® | Well is an expanded version of Stay® | Green which still supports local eco-friendly initiatives. For more information please direct the guest to www.bellstar.ca/green

  • There were amenities that many of our guests consistently requested to enhance their stay with us. We are pleased to now be able to provide all our guests with many of these upgrades and services for a nominal fee.

  • Yes. This is a standard fee, guests are welcome to use all or none of the items included but the fee remains the same.

  • Program information, activity lists, and amenity access are provided upon guest check-in.
